Nurse Consultations

Our nurse consultations are ran by our registered veterinary nurses and are able to provide extensive information about health, lifestyle and diet. They run from Monday to Friday throughout the day. The clinics we are able to provide include:

Getting Started Clinics

This is for all our clients who have exciting new little puppies and kittens, we provide a full nose to tail exam and can provide advice about socialisation, behaviour and training, flea and worm control, dental care and nutrition. This is a great opportunity to get your little one socialised and get them familiar with our practice and our team.

Fit For Life Clinics

This is for all our patients over six months, we will provide a full nose to tail exam, discuss any health, behaviour or training concerns you may have. This is an opportunity to identify any lumps, dental disease or changes in weight.

After Eight Clinics

Sadly all of our pets start to grow up, and as in people, they are more prone to developing certain health conditions. These clinics are here for pets over the age of eight and provide advice about their changing needs and nutrition, your pet will get health checked and can have some diagnostic tests run to assess how they are doing. Identifying diseases early is so important!

These clinics cost £21.50 from the 1st January 2022. If you are a pet health club member, these clinics are included in your membership.

Weight Management clinics

We are aware how difficult it can be to maintain your pet at a healthy weight. These clinics are there to guide you every step of the way. The consultation includes a nose to tail exam, full nutritional advice, exercise plans, weight checks, body condition scoring, full body measurements and online help and support.

The initial weight management package costs £60 and includes four consultations, a bag of prescription low calorie food and a set of digital scales. The initial consultation will last for 1 hour and the following three consults will be 20 minutes.

Socialisation clinics

These clinics give your pet an opportunity to develop their socialisation skills, this is really important for your pet’s development and decreases the risk of behavioural issues. It also allows them used to our practice in case they need treatment in the future. Our nurses will make sure they feel as safe and relaxed as possible.

The price for each socialisation clinic is £35, with the initial consultation lasting 1 hour and follow ups lasting 40 minutes.
